Hari Raya Week
In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the Malay Language Unit of Woodgrove Secondary School has organised a series of activities in week 1 of term 3. These activities highlighted the significance of celebrating Hari Raya and brought the students closer to the cultural practices involved in the celebration.

The programme kick-started with the launch of the Hari Raya Week by our School Leaders, Mr Chee and Mr Tan. Staff and students basked in the festive mood as they learn to make traditional cookies such as pineapple tarts and modern cookies, weave the ketupat and guessed the names of modern and traditional Hari Raya cookies.

The Hari Raya spirit was further magnified by a Dikir Barat performance and poetry recital by Secondary 3 Malay Language students. Everyone was also entertained with Hari Raya songs by teachers, Mr Karim and Mdm Mardiana as well as students. By and large, the Hari Raya Week brought about meaningful experiences to staff and students.
