T&L Session 1
Woodgrove Secondary School conducted its Teaching & Learning Session 1 on Thursday, 10 February 2012.
Each year, the Teaching & Learning Committee plans at least two sessions where teachers come together to embark on a journey of teaching and sharing.
As part of our vision, ‘A School of Dynamic Learners’, we constantly seek to be a group of collaborative learners. In this session, our focus is to help our teachers understand the frustrations of our students in today’s world.

Firstly, our Full-Time School Counsellor, Mrs Stella Goh, and our HOD (Student Development) Mr Tan Siong Leong, shared with teachers on how to improve their classroom management by understanding the students we teach. This lecture style presentation allowed teachers to learn from the experts within the school.
Next, teachers were grouped into special niche groups to discuss how we could work collaboratively to achieve greater success in teaching and learning. These sessions were led by our teacher facilitators and the discussions were recorded by the appointed scribes.
