MINDS Fernvale Gardens SPED

Cadets and NCOs from Sec One - Sec Three visited MINDS Fernvale Gardens SPED School to volunteer, befriend & cheer the MINDS students. The NCOs and cadets planned and conducted a mini carnival; with fun-fair game booths and activities, musical performance, (surprise) mass birthday celebration. The NCOs acted as “Game Station Masters” and the cadets were assigned as buddies for the MINDS students.

At the end of event, both cadets and NCOs helped with area cleaning, ensuring the MINDS Sch Hall was clean and tidy.

The cadets and NCOs learned to be more socially-aware, more receptive towards others and how to communicate effectively with others, verbally or non-verbally. More importantly, there is No help that is Too Small and No task is Too big.
