During the morning assembly on 6th April, the NE Ambassadors took centre stage to lead the celebrations. Dressed in traditional costumes, they marched in with the flags of all the ASEAN countries. There was a sharing by one of our students on her experiences as a student who moved from Philippines to Singapore 10 years ago, followed by a special performance by Woodgrove Awesome contestants who sang a popular Filipino folk song entitled ‘Anak’, which has been translated to many languages, including Malay and English.
