Secondary One Green Outreach & Geography Investigation (GI) 2015
As part of the school’s continual effort in environmental conservation and education, the school organised a Green community outreach and Geographical Investigation (GI) field work session for all Secondary one students.

check the quality of the water in the waterway.
This collaborative programme between the Character Citizenship Education and Humanities Department aims to inculcate in our students the good habit of keeping our water resources clean as one of the ways to help protect the environment and also to equip students with practical investigative skill sets that will help reinforce the content that has been taught during the Secondary 1 Geography lessons.

The students went to Bishan - Ang Mo Kio Park to pick up the litter by the side of the waterways and conducted simple water testing experiments guided by their Form teachers and Geography teachers. The whole experience allowed them to better understand the value of our waterways and the importance of keeping them clean in order to maintain an environment that best showcases Singapore as a city in a garden.
